Bedfont 1 (0) Woodley United 2 (0)
On a blustery afternoon with a strong cross wind blowing across the pitch and under the flight path of Heathrow airport, United became the first team this season to take points at The Orchard where Bedfont had won their previous five home league games.
The opening five minutes saw both teams have crosses land on the roof of their opponents’ net while Troy Williams, who was lively all match, run on to a Harvey Collins pass only to see a last gasp clearance by a defender as the forward prepared to take on home goalkeeper George Armstrong in a one on one situation.
Woodley went on to force three corners in the first nine minutes of the match as they showed their intent to attack the Bedfont goal.
